Meet OBI’s New Agency Mom – Resource Manager Tiffany Wescott

Keeping an ad agency humming along without a resource manager is kind of like driving through a busy intersection without a signal; it’s easy to get confused about who goes first, which can lead to delays and the occasional accident. Ouch! With the addition of resource manager Tiff Wescott to our team, the lights (and the revered turn arrow) are working once again.

Creative director Erica Rowe describes the mood in the office as jubilant. “We’re doing a happy dance! Cheers of joy can be heard throughout the creative area now that Tiff is here.”

Tiff joins OBI via Swanson Russell where she worked as the traffic manager for seven years. Prior to SR, she worked for Turnpost and The Sacco Group.

Perfect for the role, Tiff describes creating timelines, keeping an eye on budgets and assisting with production management and vendor/freelance resourcing as challenging yet rewarding. “Being a resource manager is a little like being an agency mom,” says Tiff, also mother to two young girls, 11 and 9. “You have to manage other people’s time, which means that some days you are loved by the same people who dislike you the next. But you also get to know everyone’s personalities and learn what motivates each person on the team. In the end, my job is really to help everyone – both clients and employees – feel satisfied.”

Erica welcomes Tiff’s keen eye for project management. “I’m excited for her to look at how we’ve been managing things and identify opportunities for improvement. Her involvement will help everyone on the team from start to finish and ensure projects flow through the agency smoothly.”

Like good children, we’ll do our best to keep our agency mom happy or just bribe her with cheese (we hear she has a bit of an obsession).
