OBI Creative CEO and Founder Mary Ann O’Brien to be Inducted into Greater Omaha Chamber’s Omaha Business Hall of Fame

Congratulations to our Mary Ann O’Brien, CEO and Founder of OBI Creative, on her induction into the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s Omaha Business Hall of Fame!

Mary Ann’s induction marks yet another incredible milestone in her career, and further cements her legacy as a nationally recognized branding and marketing thought leader.

“Throughout her career, Mary Ann has consistently demonstrated the highest ethical standards, integrity and commitment to excellence,” says Jamie Gutierrez, CEO of Midwest Maintenance. “Her leadership has not only transformed organizations but benefited our community. She’s a true role model for business leaders.”

The Omaha Business Hall of Fame honors our community’s best and brightest business leaders and Mary Ann is no doubt one of them. She has led national and global strategic initiatives for Intel, Microsoft, Sony, Lenovo, Gateway, Nomi Health, Iowa DOT, Stericycle, ViewSonic, Creighton Heider College of Business, Advanced Auto Parts, Cobalt Credit Union, GuideOne Insurance, Olsson, Delta Dental, AgVenture, and Miller Electric, among many others.

“Mary Ann epitomizes the spirit of strategic creativity,” said Anthony Hendrickson, Dean of the Heider College of Business at Creighton University. “She’s left a clear mark on the Omaha business community.” 

She’s a pioneer in modern marketing, having authored the O’Brien Voice of the Customer™ and Voice of the Employee™ studies, which have repeatedly served as the foundation for incredible business success stories.

“To be selected for the Omaha Chamber’s Business Hall of Fame is such an incredible honor,” said Mary Ann. “As an adopted daughter of Omaha, I am so thrilled to be able to make an impact on the business community and the city itself.”

Mary Ann is one of five people inducted into the 2023 Omaha Business Hall of Fame. An induction ceremony will be held on August 23, and the achievements of the inductees will be showcased in a permanent display at The Durham Museum. This is a huge honor for Mary Ann and a wonderful opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication to Omaha’s business community. Congratulations to Mary Ann and all the inductees!
